Shivaleeka Oberoi says Abhishek Pathak ‘holds the sun in his hands’ & makes it shine on her’
Mumbai, July 1 (IANS) Actress Shivaleeka Oberoi penned a heartfelt birthday note for her husband, filmmaker Abhishek Pathak, expressing her emotions for him.
In an emotional post, Shivaleeka expressed how Abhishek, metaphorically “holds the sun in the palm of his hands” and makes it shine on her and their little girl.
Sharing a heartwarming montage of pictures and videos capturing their happy moments together, Shivaleeka gave fans a glimpse into their cherished memories.
One of the clips showed the couple enjoying a romantic dinner, while many others featured candid family moments and celebrations.
She captioned the post: “To my camera-shy husband, starring in a reel he definitely didn’t approve. Happy Birthday to the man who holds the sun in the palm of his hands and makes it shine on me and our little girl! I never asked life for much, and yet here you are, an entire world just for me. For the uninitiated, Abhishek and Shivaleeka first met during the shoot of their 2020 film “Khuda Hafiz”, which starred Vidyut Jammwal. They got engaged in July 2022, after dating for a few years and then eventually got married in February 2023.
The couple got married in a private ceremony in Goa in the presence of their family and close friends, including actor Ajay Devgn.
Shivaleeka and Abhishek welcomed their newborn daughter on April 19, this year.
Sharing the good news on social media in a joint post, they wrote, “In a moment, our hearts found a whole new meaning! With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our precious baby girl! 19th April 2026. Blessed parents Shivaleeka and Abhishek (sic).”
“Our little Goddess Laxmi has arrived on an auspicious day. A blessing in its purest form (sic),” read the caption on the post.
On May 19, when their daughter turned a month old, the couple revealed that they have named their baby girl Aarika.
Explaining the meaning of the name, they stated that it symbolises grace, abundance, prosperity, and divine beauty.
The post was captioned: “Introducing our greatest blessing Aarika Pathak. Aarika carries the essence of Goddess Lakshmi — symbolising grace, abundance, prosperity, and divine beauty.”
The post further read, “Born on 19.04.2026 the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, it all feels so beautifully and divinely connected — as if the universe planned it this way all along. She is everything we ever dreamed of and more. Grateful, blessed, and completely in love…all over again!”
