Paradox on ‘MTV Hustle 5’: Wherever you go, you learn new things and evolve by time

Mumbai, Aug 22 (IANS) Rapper Paradox, who is currently seen as a mentor in the Hip-Hop reality show “MTV Hustle 5” feels the changing music landscape has taught him to approach the craft from different perspectives.

Speaking about his journey and ‘MTV Hustle 5’, he says that music has become a business, an art and an expression, and he is focused on giving his best across all aspects.

Talking about going from being a contestant to a mentor, how has the show shaped him as a person, Paradox told IANS: “So, I have learnt a lot of new things. I feel that in any phase of life, wherever you go, you learn new things and you evolve by time. So, now our focus is in this industry, is music.”

“And music as a business, an art or just an expression, we have learnt a lot of new things. And we are trying to give our best in all aspects.

Talking about Hustle 5, the show has a new theme “Apna Homeground”. Rapper Badshah is seen as Rap Supremo. Joining Badshah, is OG Squad Boss EPR alongside MC Square, Paradox and Agsy.

Aspiring rappers battle it out to become India’s biggest hip-hop star. The first season premiered in 2019, and was judged by Raftaar, Nucleya and Raja Kumari, accompanied by host Gaelyn Mendonca.

The second season premiered in 2022. Hosted by Krissann Barretto, the show was judged by Badshah along with four squad bosses – EPR Iyer, Dino James, Dee MC and King Rocco.

The third season premiered in 2023. Hosted by Wicked Sunny and Super Mannik, the show was judged by Badshah for the second time consecutively, along with four squad bosses – EPR Iyer, Dino James, Dee MC and Ikka.

The fourth season premiered in 2024. Hosted by MC Talha and MC Jizzy, the show was judged by Raftaar and Ikka, along with four squad bosses – EPR Iyer, Dino James, Dee MC and Raga.
