Paradox on MC Square: There’s never been a situation where people have compared us

Mumbai, Aug 24 (IANS) Hip Hop artist Paradox said that there’s no need for comparisons between him and MC Square, as each brings their own set of skills to the table.

The duo, who are currently seen as mentors on the reality show “MTV Hustle 5”, said they enjoy the fans’ expectations of seeing them collaborate and promised that more music together is on the way.

Talking about the fear of comparison between him and MC Square, Paradox told IANS: “I feel that there is no need to maintain it because there are many things in which both of us are experts, in many different aspects. And there has never been a situation where people have compared us.”

“People want us to make music together because, when we make music together, all the skills are consumed by the people on the same plate. So, it is like that. There has never been a comparison, but we like it when you expect us to collaborate. So, keep expecting the same from us, and you will keep getting new music together.”

Talking about Hustle 5, the show has a new theme “Apna Homeground”. Rapper Badshah is seen as Rap Supremo. Joining Badshah, is OG Squad Boss EPR alongside MC Square, Paradox and Agsy.

Aspiring rappers battle it out to become India’s biggest hip-hop star. The first season premiered in 2019, and was judged by Raftaar, Nucleya and Raja Kumari, accompanied by host Gaelyn Mendonca.

The second season premiered in 2022. Hosted by Krissann Barretto, the show was judged by Badshah along with four squad bosses – EPR Iyer, Dino James, Dee MC and King Rocco.

The third season premiered in 2023. Hosted by Wicked Sunny and Super Mannik, the show was judged by Badshah for the second consecutive time, along with four squad bosses – EPR Iyer, Dino James, Dee MC and Ikka.

The fourth season premiered in 2024. Hosted by MC Talha and MC Jizzy, the show was judged by Raftaar and Ikka, along with four squad bosses – EPR Iyer, Dino James, Dee MC and Raga.
