Dhanush & Kriti Sanon’s wish for ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ director Aanand L. Rai: Next Kahaani jaldi sunao
Mumbai, June 28 (IANS) Dhanush and Kriti Sanon penned lovely birthday wishes for the ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ director Aanand L. Rai as he turned a year older on Sunday.
Dhanush took to the Stories section of his official Instagram handle and shared an adorable photo with the filmmaker.
The pic showed these two at the ghat with Aanand L. Rai lovingly pinching Dhanush’s cheeks.
“Happy birthday mera bhai (two red heart emojis) Love you (sic),” read the text overlay.
Kriti also posted a picture hugging the director and wrote, “Happy birthday Aanand sir. Wish you all the happiness and love!! Miss you!! (sic)”
She further went on to express her desire to work with Aanand L. Rai yet again, saying, “Next kahaani jaldi sunao.”
Made under the direction of Aanand L. Rai, the screenplay for ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ has been provided by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav.
Billed as a spiritual sequel to ‘Raanjhanaa’, which also featured Dhanush, along with Sonam Kapoor, the drama shares the journey of Shankar (Played by Dhanush), who ends up falling for Mukti while helping her conduct her PhD. After Mukti ends the relationship, leaving him heartbroken, Shankar joins the Indian Air Force. However, fate brings them together one last time.
Backed under the banner of Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films, the movie enjoys music by renowned composer A. R. Rahman.
The camera work for the drama has been handled by Tushar Kanti Ray, with Hemal Kothari as the head of the editing department.
On the professional front, Kriti was recently seen in the sequel ‘Cocktail 2’, in which she shared screen space with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
On the other hand, Dhanush is presently working on Rajkumar Periasamy’s ‘Om’, co-starring Malayalam superstar Mammootty.
The primary cast of the eagerly-awaited movie also includes Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela.
