‘Anupamaa’ actress Adrija Roy to ring in birthday in Switzerland, shares celebration plans with fiancé Vignesh
Mumbai, July 3 (IANS) ‘Anupamaa’ actress Adrija Roy has opened up about her birthday celebration plans with fiancé Vignuesh Iyer in Switzerland.
In an exclusive interview with IANS, she shared, “This year I’m celebrating my birthday in Switzerland with my fiancé, Vignuesh. It’s going to be a quiet and special celebration. We both have busy schedules, so getting this time together feels like a gift in itself. I’m looking forward to exploring new places, enjoying good food, and just being present in the moment. I feel birthdays are less about big celebrations and more about making memories with the people you love.”
“I’m definitely someone who enjoys celebrating with my loved ones. A nice dinner with family and close friends is my kind of birthday. I don’t need a huge party to feel special. Good food, good company, and lots of laughter are enough for me. Those simple moments are the ones I remember the most,” she added.
Adrija went on to state, “My birthday rituals are very simple. I start the day by thanking Durga Maa for another beautiful year of life and praying for good health and happiness for everyone around me. Then I take my parents’ blessings because that means a lot to me. I also like taking a few minutes to think about the year that has gone by and remind myself to be grateful for everything life has given me.”
When asked about the most meaningful gift she has ever received, Adrija doesn’t mention a material possession. Instead, she says life itself is the greatest blessing.
“I honestly feel the biggest gift is life itself. God has been very kind to me, both personally and professionally. Nothing is more valuable than having good health, loving people around me and waking up every day with something to look forward to.”
Further speaking about the people who make her birthday truly special, Adrija Roy smiled and said, “My parents have always been the biggest part of my birthday, and now Vignesh and my in-laws have become an equally special part of it. Having all of them around makes every birthday complete.”
Adrija Roy will turn a year older on July 4.
