The Superintendent of Police was given charge of the 112 emergency response system. Meanwhile, the SSP of Jhansi received a promotion, and officers from Jhansi were posted to important positions in Meerut.

Among the other officers, Vikas Chandra Tripathi, who was serving as SP/Additional SP in Barabanki, has been posted as SP, Sambhal. Martand Prakash Singh, SP/Additional SP of Hardoi, has been transferred to Balrampur as SP.

The transfers involve a mix of district‑level Superintendents of Police (SPs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs), with some officers moving to key urban and sensitive districts. Others have been assigned headquarters roles.

The reshuffle covers districts including Gonda, Sultanpur, Meerut, Jhansi, Bijnor, Balrampur, Sambhal, Barabanki and Hardoi, along with a posting in the state capital.

The orders are expected to take effect immediately, and officers are directed to join their new assignments at the earliest. The changes are part of the routine administrative exercise undertaken by the state government to ensure effective policing across Uttar Pradesh.
