DoPPW to hold 9th National Anubhav Awards, 60th pre-retirement counselling workshop on August 17
New Delhi, Aug 16 (IANS) The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) will organise the 9th National Anubhav Awards Ceremony and the 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling (PRC) Workshop at Vigyan Bhawan here on August 17, with the events being held under the auspices of Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr Jitendra Singh, according to an official statement on Sunday.
The 9th National Anubhav Awards Ceremony will recognise 15 selected awardees who have made contributions to nation-building and participated in various ambitious projects of the Indian Government.
The awardees have contributed to initiatives including Passport Seva Kendra, repeal of outdated rules and formulation of new rules in line with current requirements, technological adaptation in administration and accounting, and energy conservation, the statement said.
Dr Singh will confer the National Anubhav Awards 2026 on the selected awardees during the ceremony.
The ‘Anubhav’ platform provides a forum for retiring and retired employees of the Central Government, 12 Public Sector Banks and Central Public Sector Enterprises to share their experiences and contributions from their years of service.

The 60th Pre-Retirement Counselling Workshop will be organised primarily for retiring Central government employees posted in the National Capital Region. The workshop will provide information on procedures and processes required to ensure timely payment of retirement benefits.
The programme will also feature the release of the Handbook on Pension Mitra and the Guidelines for the nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 5.
As part of the event, a Bank Exhibition will also be organised, where 17 pension-disbursing banks will showcase products and services designed to meet the requirements of retiring employees.
