Hansika Motwani’s look in Rohith Nara’s ‘Kapaali’ released

Hyderabad, Aug 10 (IANS) The makers of director Raam Ganni’s eagerly awaited psychological horror thriller ‘Kapaali’, featuring actor Rohith Nara in the lead, have now released the first-look poster of actress Hansika Motwani in the film, much to the delight of fans and film buffs.

The makers chose to release the first look poster of the actress on a day she celebrated her birthday.

Directed by Raam Ganni, the film is set against a police backdrop while delving into a dark and mysterious world of psychological horror. Presented by Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, Kapaali is being produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina and Bhanu Kiran Pratapa under the Sapta Aswa Media Works banner.

The poster released is a black-and-white, hand-sketched image of Hansika. The actress is seen showcasing an intense and deeply serious expression. Her long, flowing hair frames her face, while her sharp gaze and composed demeanour create an air of mystery. Dressed in a simple outfit and accessorised with a delicate chain, she appears enigmatic.

What makes the poster particularly captivating is the way Hansika’s portrait blends into a dark, misty forest landscape. Ancient-looking symbols and mysterious markings surround her, while a warm burst of sunlight cuts through the trees in the background. A lone figure can also be seen walking deep inside the forest, adding another layer of suspense.

Earlier, the makers had unveiled the title and first look of Rohith Nara.

Sources close to the unit say that ‘Kapaali’ means the one who wears a skull. The first-look poster of Rohith Nara had perfectly reflected the essence of the title.

Rohith Nara’s first look poster, which was released earlier, had the actor sporting an intense and determined expression as he gazed upward, suggesting that his character was confronting an unseen force. His thick beard and haunting eyes commanded attention. Adding to the eerie mood were twisted tree branches rising like a crown from his head. Behind him, mysterious ancient symbols formed a circular pattern, reinforcing the film’s occult and mythological undertones. The tagline, “A Journey Into The Unknown,” perfectly complemented the unsettling visual.

In the foreground stood a terrifying female figure with glowing red eyes, hinting at a powerful supernatural presence. Beside her were police officers, including one carrying a rifle, while a police transport vehicle was positioned atop a glowing ritual circle, suggesting that law enforcement had become entangled in a terrifying paranormal mystery.
