Haryana Police case serious regarding Punjab CM video: Akal Takht

Chandigarh, June 23 (IANS) The case registered by Haryana Police regarding the preparation of fake forensic reports in connection with the objectionable video of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, who was declared as ‘Guru Dokhi’ and Khalsa Panth ‘virodhi’ by the Akal Takht, is a serious matter.

In an official statement, media advisor to the Akal Takht secretariat, Jaskaran Singh, said that history is witness to the fact that those who challenged Sri Akal Takht Sahib have always faced unfortunate results.

He said another video of CM Mann has surfaced in which he is allegedly using highly objectionable language against Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the Guru Khalsa Panth.

According to him, anti-Sikh forces and those challenging Akal Takht Sahib should remember that while one may deceive people in worldly matters, no one can deceive the Guru Sahib or His true Takht.

Jaskaran Singh said the manner in which the government led by Punjab CM Mann attempted to deceive Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the Sikh community reflects the politics of a very low standard. He stressed that it is essential for every Sikh, follower of Guru Nanak, and Punjabi to remain alert and aware of this.

He added that all those involved in this conspiracy should look into their conscience and remember that those who turn away from the Guru find support nowhere, and that such a stain remains for generations.

He further said Haryana Police should investigate the matter with complete seriousness and expose every individual involved in this conspiracy, while also ensuring strict punishment for them.
